Kia ora,
Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 students for an excellent camp to Waitawheta. We have got a great group of students to lead our school this year. My thanks to Robbie and Phil for planning and executing a fantastic camp. Thank you also to all the parents who participated. Our school community appreciates the time and effort you put into this event.
As a staff we are always refining how we report your child’s achievements to you. This week I would like some feed back on if you understand your child's achievements against the National Standards. Do you know how well your child is achieving? Is it easy to understand? Have we given you ideas to help at home? National Standards are a goal, something to aspire too. The feed back I require is on the quality of our reporting. Your ideas will be appreciated.
Nasty bugs are lurking already. If your child is feeling a bit under the weather, please keep them at home or let us know so we can act promptly. A text or phone call is required if your child is away from school for the day.
Breakfast Club is underway again with Anne Marie organizing our daily kai. Fruit donations are welcomed. Sadly our milk supply has been halved this year.
Lastly we are looking for Duffy Book Sponsors. If you know a friend or business that would like to donate to our Duffy Books, please let me know. We require $2000. All sponsors will be acknowledged on the front page of our web site.
