Swimming Pool, Celebration Assembly and Recyclable Materials

THANKS

A big thank you to the Women’s Institute for making our lovely swimming bags for children! They are amazing. Also a huge thank you for their donation towards camps earlier this year. It was much appreciated.

CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY

2 p.m. in the hall. Rooms 1, 7 and 8 will be presenting all welcome.

SWIMMING POOL

The pool is open for class swimming lessons. Please send along togs for daily swims. Our thanks to Ross for getting the pool up and running for us.

RECYCLING MATERIALS NEEDED

Our Term 4 focus is ‘Toi Pueru’ which means wearable arts made from recycled materials. Room 8 needs lots of clean large plastic shopping bags from the shops e.g. Farmers, Mitre 10 to make their wearable arts. No more New World bags please. The greater the variety of bags, colours, and sizes the better as their wearable arts will look more interesting. Please send to room 8, thank you. We will be having a wearable arts show on 2nd December. Check out our wearable arts photos below, the first features Ani from room 8 modelling a prototype of her wearable art creation the other pics show room 1 students creating theirs.
